High school teacher is found guilty of sexual harassment. Still teaches.
In Road to Full Bloom, nineteen-year-old Emily Bloomberg has to face her trauma: she was raped by her college’s star football player, a man who still attends the University with superstar status. Despite her attempts to come forward, Emily consistently finds that he is untouchable and takes time off to heal in her hometown up north.
That is until she finds out that he is being drafted for the NFL. She cannot escape his face as the news travels online, and she knows that if he is untouchable now, he will be immortal soon.
Determined to inform all future women he is bound to meet, Emily takes a road trip with her best friend to record a confession before the NFL Combine. But that isn’t all she must face on this journey, and she begins to wonder if she will make it there at all…
In this story of love and healing, a believable heroine faces America’s rape culture head-on. Readers everywhere who have said “Me Too” will rejoice.

I first became an advocate in 2010, speaking up about domestic abuse. Since then, I have extended that focus to include other societal issues, speaking at seminars in places such as UC Berkeley. Articles here extend that advocacy.
In addition to this, I am in the midst of creating my debut novel, Road to Full Bloom. Here, fictional college-student Emily Bloomberg is navigating the rape culture of the United States. Too common traumas are exposed, and we are left to follow the characters through their paths of self-healing, friendship, and love.
